Get your students organizing and interpreting data like pros with these simple and ready-to-use worksheets! This bundle has eleven engaging worksheets that scaffold them from easy to hard so they can be successful! Students start with a worksheet where they focus just on organzing data by counting objects and then tallying and totaling them and then they graph their data. The next worksheet students focus on just interpreting data. Then they have 7 worksheets where they organize, graph, and interpret the data all together. Last, they get to collect their own data with their own question and choices! As students complete each worksheet you will quickly be able to gauge where your students are at in their understanding of data and graphing!

Here's what you'll get:

✅ 11 Data & Graphing Worksheets:

  1. Organizing and Interpreting Bar Graph Data Worksheets (2 Pages): One worksheet focuses on organizing the data and filling out a graph. The other worksheet focuses on interpreting data by answering questions about the bar graph that is already filled out.

  2. Vertical Bar Graphs (4 Pages): Each is a different theme. Students count the different objects. Then they write their total, draw tally marks, and fill out the vertical bar graph. Then they answer questions about the graph.

  3. Horizontal Bar Graphs (3 Pages): Each is a different theme. Students count the different objects. Then they write their total, draw tally marks, and fill out the horizontal bar graph. Then they answer questions about the graph.

  4. Collect, Graph, and Analyze Your Own Data Worksheet (2 Pages): First, students write a question they want to ask their classmates (ie. What is your favorite food?). Second, students write 3 choices for their question (ie. chicken nuggets, pizza, and hamburgers). Third, students walk around the classroom and ask their classmates which of their choices they would choose. They mark all responses in the table where they draw tally marks and write the total. Fourth, students graph their data. Fifth, students answer 3 questions about their data.

These worksheets are perfect for formally assessing students' understanding during whole-class instruction. You can also use them in math centers or as a rotation in Daily 5.

The best part? You'll love being able to see exactly where your students are at in the learning process. Do they know how to organize data? Do they know how to make tally marks? Do they know how to fill out a bar graph? Do they understand how to interpret the data from a graph? You'll see right away!

These worksheets are quick to print and easy for students to understand. Your students will be learning but will be having fun in the process! They're also easy to assign a substitute to do with students.
